JLH Illustration is the brain child of Jackie Von Spanks, a passionate painter and illustrator, graduated with two degrees in illustration from Fashion Institute of Technology and Ringling College of Art and Design with a focus in print making.

Jackie, now full time freelance working with clients in Brooklyn, New Orleans and more, blends vintage vibes with modern fine art, from intricate pin-up designs to bold murals, Jackie's work is a celebration of color, unique characters with spirit behind it. Her work is inspired by her love for retro aesthetics and pop culture, creating pieces that resonate with art enthusiasts and collectors alike.

Jackie now resides in New Orleans, Louisiana with her family ghouls. When she’s not working on her own projects, she’s painting murals, teaching painting to the community and being active in NOLA’s indie music and art spaces.
